Actress Anne Hathaway, that worked in the 2 Princess Diaries movies, has affirmed that she wants to complete a third installment of the romantic comedy film franchise and so does her co-star Julie Andrews. As for just how much the new project is in development, the Academy awardwinning celebrity said there is a script for it, reports aceshowbiz.com.
“There is a script to the 3rd picture,” she said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with her”Serenity” costar Matthew McConaughey. “I want to do it, Julie would like to do it, Debra Martin-Chase (producer) really wants to complete it,” she said.
Hathaway included:”most of us really want it to happen, we simply do not wish to do it unless it’s perfect. We think it’s great just as far as you guys think it’s great, it’s as important for us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver such a thing before it’s ready, but we’re working on it”
The picture, is founded on Meg Cabot’s young adult book of the identical name, which follows a timid San Fransicso teenager, Mia, who discovers that she is the heir to the throne of a European kingdom, Genovia.
Under the tutelage of her grandmother (Andrews), the kingdom’s reigning queen, Mia has to decide whether she wants to maintain the throne she has endured or forever abdicate her title.
Hathaway came back in 2004’s”Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement”, which focuses around Mia’s amorous relationship as she’s tasked with getting a husband to keep the throne. She falls in love with badboy along with rival heir, Lord Nicholas Devereaux, challenging the old royal marriages law. Unlike the original installation, the sequel is not predicated on all those books.
