Deepika is not taking the name of the controversy over Padukone’s film Chhapak. Even after release, controversies are not taking the name of leaving the film. Whereas earlier this film was being sought for bycot, now after its release, protests are being organized in many cities against this film.
Protests against the film Chhapak were fiercely performed in Indore. Activists of the BJP Scheduled Front outside the Sapna Sangeeta cinema hall of the city opposed the film. The activists set their protest by setting fire to the poster of Chhapak.
There was also opposition to the film Chhapak in Bhopal. However, the Madhya Pradesh government made this film tax free in the state. After making Chopak tax-free, now the demand for tax-free Ajay Devgan’s film Tanaji in Bhopal has also increased. BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma has demanded Tanaji to be tax free.
He has said that the money of Deepika’s film will go to the terrorists of Pakistan, so the film Tanaji in Madhya Pradesh should also be tax free. Sharma said, for this the Shiv Sena should also come forward, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray should write a letter to Kamal Nath for this. Deepika Padukone’s film Chhapak has been tax free in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Pondicherry. Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath tweeted, “The film Chhapak on Deepika Padukone starrer Acid Attack Survivor, which is being released in cinemas across the country on January 10, announces it to be tax free in Madhya Pradesh.”
