Starring Varun Dhawan, Ekkis will showcase the journey of Arun, the 21-year-old, who showed great courage against the Pakistani army to achieve India’s highest military medal, the Param Vir Chakra.
Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur tells the story of Sam Manekshaw. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, who also gave us Raazi, the movie will showcase the effective leadership skills of the army chief during the war of 1971 against Pakistan.
Many brave soldiers lost their lives during the Mumbai attacks of 2008. Major tells the story of one such braveheart, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred during the attacks. The movie cast includes Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, this movie will showcase the personal as well as professional life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra. Sidharth Malhotra will play a double role, portraying both the lives of Vikram Batra as well as his twin brother Vishal Batra. The movie is set to release on July 2, 2021, under Karan Johar’s banner.
Bhuj: The pride of India
Ajay Devgn starrer this movie is a biopic of IAF officer Vijay Karnik. The movie cast also includes Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles. The story revolves around the bravery and hard work of kutch women and their contribution in repairing the Bhuj air-strip during the Pakistan war of 1971.
