- In the midst of the pandemic, Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana finished filming his much-anticipated three flicks. The Vicky Donor actor will appear in three films, each portraying a different character. For the spy thriller Anek, Ayushmann will be seen undertaking some high-octane stunts. Ayushmann’s stunts in the film were coordinated by Stefan Richter, the action director of Shahrukh Khan’s Don 2, and Ryan Reynolds’ The Hitman’s Bodyguard.
Khurrana pushed himself to the maximum for these projects. Since all three films, Anek, Doctor G and Chandigarh Kare Aashique are of different genres and presentations, he had to put his utmost effort. While talking about his films in an interview, Ayushmann quoted, “Anek is the biggest film of my career when it comes to the scale of the movie. Anubhav is keen on giving the audiences the big-screen experience. Stefan, an architect for big-scale action movies around the world, comes in with his wealth of knowledge. Anek’s action sequences will match global standards and give audiences a thrilling, visual experience. I love doing different things and pushing the envelope. Anek is taking me on a new journey that I’m really enjoying.”
Ayushmann Khurrana stepped up his preparation for Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which is a romantic drama film. He is required to display a body on TV that he has never attempted before. His trainer who he flew to Chandigarh, has been coaching him through the process. Reportedly, Khurrana has to achieve the physique he desires in order to convince spectators that he can be a multi-sport athlete. He even took up cycling to achieve the desired result. While in the movie Doctor G, Ayushmann steps into the hostel life as a medical student. He stated “The film gave me an opportunity to relive my hostel days. I was also fortunate to get a chance to visit the heart of India and see it in its full glory. I shot in Bhopal for the first time in my career, and the city of lakes is a beautiful place”.
Ayushmann says he is certain that the industry will take all of the necessary procedures to reopen, and he is satisfied that he has made the first step toward reopening the doors. Khurana was last seen in the movie Gulabo Sitabo with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan opposite Kota Factory fame Jitendra Kumar.
