‘Badla’ & ‘Kahani’ Director Sujoy Gosh Will Cast Shahid Kapoor In His Next Film

Shahid Kapoor has reached a different level after the film ‘Kabir Singh’ and looking at the way he acts on screen, it seems that his career graph will touch new heights soon. After ‘Kabir Singh’, he completed the shooting of the remake of the South film ‘Jersey’, in which he played the role of a cricketer. He then shot for Family Man 2 director Raj & DK’s web series from February to April this year.

Now the news of his upcoming film has come out. Sujoy Ghosh, director of films like ‘Badla’ and ‘Kahani’, is now going to make a film with Shahid Kapoor. A source from B-town reveals that Shahid and Sujoy have been thinking of working together for a long time and now things seem to be working out. Shahid has liked the script and if everything goes according to plan, the shooting of the film will start this year.

However not many details have been revealed about the film, but since it is a Sujoy Ghosh film, it would not be a surprise if it happens to be a thriller. But still, according to the sources, Shahid is thinking of doing a similar film which is not only commercially beneficial but also not so different than the public does not understand. After shooting Shahid Sujoy’s film, he will work in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s film Karn and it will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Talking about his acting, he has already proved that Shahid can reform the Bollywood industry.

As per reports, Shahid Kapoor really wants to just focus on doing commercial films at this time. He doesn’t want him to leave the genre that has propelled him to the pinnacle of stardom. The actor has experimented a number of times in his illustrious career, most of them being really successful hits.
