Bollywood Movies releasing in 2021

Following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions on much of Bollywood in the aftermath of the pandemic, fans are now excitedly expecting the start of filming and the release of long-awaited flicks. Many films have been postponed due to the closure of theatres in the UAE during the last year. Viewers began to perceive movies on digital platforms as a source of relief after a period of adjustment. While the COVID-19 epidemic and its laws continue to loom, movie theatres throughout the world have opened their doors while maintaining strict safety standards. With Bollywood finally getting back on track, here are the films that have finally been given a release date, whether it’s digital or at a theatre near you.

First and foremost, actor Farhan Akhtar has set a digital release date for his film ‘Toofan.’ In the sports film, the celebrity portrays a boxer, and it will be available on Amazon Prime Video on July 16.

The upcoming film ‘Mimi,’ starring Kriti Sanon, has received a lot of attention. The film’s producers have disclosed the release date. On July 30, Mimi will also be available on Netflix and Jio Cinema. Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Tripathi, and Manoj Pahwa also star in ‘Mimi.’

‘14 Phere,’ which stars Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, is the latest Bollywood film to bypass theatres in favor of streaming. The film, which is a social comedy, will premiere on Zee5 on July 23.

Priyadarshan is known for producing enjoyable comedies. The director is currently working on his latest feature, “Hungama 2,” which will be released on Disney+Hotstar on July 23. Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jaffrey, and Pranitha Subhash are starring in the comedy. The film is not a sequel to the 2004 hit “Hungama,” according to the director.

The release date for Akshay Kumar’s spy thriller “Bell Bottom” has been set for July 27 in India, according to a video uploaded on the Bollywood actor’s social media sites. The film’s release date in the UAE has yet to be confirmed, although it looks like it will happen after the Eid Al Adha weekend.

On August 13th, Disney+Hotstar will release Bhuj: Pride of India, starring Ajay Devgn. The voyage of an IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport, and how he reconstructed a whole IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from a nearby village in Madhapar to protect his country, inspired the film.

The upcoming horror comedy ‘Bhoot Police’ is bringing a new ghostbuster to town. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam and was directed by Pavan Kirpalani. It will be accessible on Disney+ Hotstar starting September 17th.

One of the most eagerly awaited films of the year is almost here. The makers of SS Rajamouli’s multi-starrer RRR have announced that the film would be released in theatres on October 13 this year, just in time for the Dassarah. However, given the coronavirus outbreak, it’s unclear whether the makers will be able to stick to this schedule.
