John Abraham joins Mercy for Animals campaign

Mercy For Animals India’s campaign stars John Abraham

John Abraham, the Bollywood heartthrob and avowed animal lover, features in a new Mercy For Animals India ad encouraging people to treat animals with kindness. “In a world where you can be anything, be nice,” reads the ad’s tagline.

According to John Abraham, “animals deserve our love, respect, and freedom.” “Through this campaign, I’m sending out the message that being friendly to animals is the least one can do to aid them. I am thrilled to be a part of Mercy For Animals India’s campaign, and I can guarantee you that I have always stood up for animals in need and will continue to do so.”

The actor recently requested his followers to sign a petition that will be delivered to India’s Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in support of the battle against animal abuse. Abraham has long been a proponent of animal rights, donating his celebrity to a number of animal care causes.

“John’s compassion has no bounds,” Mercy For Animals India CEO Nikunj Sharma stated. “When animals have been in need, he has always been there for them. He genuinely is an animal hero. He cares greatly about animals and their rights, as evidenced by his recent call to fans to support stricter animal protection laws. We hope that John’s message will resonate with animal lovers all around India as Mercy For Animals India celebrates its fifth anniversary this August.”

Mercy For Animals is one of the most well-known and effective nonprofits dedicated to creating a compassionate food system by alleviating suffering and ending animal exploitation for food. Mercy For Animals believes that by working together, we can create a society free of cruelty, one in which we nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits with clean, healthful food that is compassionate to animals.
