Salman Khan To Charge Rs. 350 Crores To Host The 15th Season Of The Reality Show

Television’s most controversial show ‘Bigg Boss’ host Salman Khan will reportedly receive a massive Rs. 350 Crores for hosting the 15th season of the show. Salman has hosted 11 seasons of Bigg Boss and he is all set to make a comeback for another season. Khan’s popularity and his unique style of hosting in ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ are believed to bring new viewers every year. He is also named the highest-paid host of the country.

One of the most contentious reality shows on Indian television, ‘Bigg Boss Season 15’ will air on the 2nd of October. Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan will be paid nearly 25 crore fees per week. Reportedly, he has hiked his fees to almost 15% for this season. Reportedly, last year it was disclosed that the Bajrangi Bhaijaanactor was paid Rs. 2.5 Cr. per episode for Season 4 and 6. The subsequent year, he doubled his fee to Rs. 5 Cr. per episode. By the 10th season of the Bigg Boss, he was reportedly paid Rs. 8 Cr. per episode. Later in Bigg Boss 13, he charged Rs. 13 Cr. per week and last year for the 14th season he was paid approx. 12-14 Cr. per week.

On the other side, a docuseries on Salman Khan’s Bollywood journey is being planned for a giant OTT platform, reported Pinkvilla. The docuseries will have nearly three decades of his journey in the Bollywood industry. A source close to the department revealed, “The idea is to chronicle Salman’s journey to superstardom and also give a glimpse to the audience about the lesser-known facts of the actor. All the key stakeholders of Salman’s career – right from family to his co-stars, directors, and producers – will be a part of this docu-series. The prep work has already begun and the interviews with Salman’s colleagues will be done in the coming few months.” 

Salman has recently wrapped up the shooting of Tiger 3 and has also revealed the poster of Antim – The Final Truth starring Aayush Sharma.
