With her next movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ in the works, it seems that Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her debut in the South Indian films. The actress will reportedly be seen in the ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ sequel alongside Telugu superstar, Akkineni Nagarjuna.
According to sources, the team is already in touch with the actress and she is thrilled to be playing the part and will sign the contract soon. The makers of the film will be making an announcement soon. The film is said to be the sequel to the 2016 film – Soggade Chinni Nayana. The film will set in motion under the directorial wings of Kalyan Krishna Kurasala who was in fact the director of the first film. Akkineni Nagarjuna will be producing the film under his home banner – Annapurna Studios. However, the makers haven’t made an official statement about the female lead of the film.
The remarkable Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut in 2010 alongside Salman with the film ‘Dabangg’. She received the ‘Best Female Debut’ at Filmfare Awards and Zee Cine Awards and hasn’t looked back since.
