TVF is responsible for six of the top ten Indian shows on IMDb

We’ve consumed a lot more stuff in the previous year and a half because of our forced seclusion. When we scanned IMDb’s Top 250 TV list (produced by user ratings) for the top 10 Indian online series and TV shows, we observed that six of the ten shows on this list are from The Viral Fever (TVF).

In India, TVF is regarded as the pioneer of web content. Permanent Roommates and Pitchers, two of their previous shows, introduced the concept of serialised storytelling on YouTube to the common Indian consumer. Sumeet Vyas, an actor-writer who has worked with TVF on productions including Permanent Roommates and Tripling, remarked about the content’s connection with the audience in an earlier interview with Telegraph India. “At TVF, our goal has always been to create original material that resonates with the Indian audience. The shows and films have always been refreshing and yet realistic, whether it’s about family, relationships, or the challenges of college life,” he said.

Sameer Saxena, the CEO of TVF Originals and the Chief Content Officer till 2020, had previously discussed the shows’ USP. “When people think of TVF, they think of the best storytellers in the country, regardless of platform. He told Adgully, “There has to be something unique about our shows.” He referred to user feedback as the “secret sauce” for TVF’s success, claiming that the show’s creators sincerely considered the criticism they got on their programmes. “There is one remark that is usually made: ‘This isn’t up to TVF level.’

We don’t know what the TVF standard is right now. When we match it, though, we get remarks like, “TVF always surprises us” and “TVF is better than Bollywood,” he explained.

The success of Aspirants has kept TVF on a high. Here are the six TVF shows that are among the top ten Indian online series and TV shows, according to IMDb:

This 2015 episode featured a group of men who are looking to create their own business. The four pals left their careers to focus on their new venture.
